About Me

Hi, My name is Shannon. I’ve always been a treasure hunter at heart. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved wandering through antique shops, vintage stores, flea markets, and little forgotten corners in search of something unusual—a beautiful object with a story, a curious little find, or something I simply couldn’t leave behind.

Blackbird Whimsy grew from that lifelong love of finding the unexpected, along with a newer fascination with rocks, minerals, crystals, and the countless little mysteries found in the natural world. There is something magical about holding a piece of the earth that has existed long before us and wondering where it came from, how it was formed, and what stories it could tell.

Here, I’m bringing those passions together. Blackbird Whimsy is a collection of found things, earthy wonders, vintage treasures, and curious little discoveries chosen simply because they caught my eye and made me wonder. My hope is that opening one of our scoops feels a little like treasure hunting yourself—never quite knowing what you’ll find, but always hoping for something wonderful.
